The client’s vehicle was struck on the driver’s side while he was operating a work truck. The impact caused injuries to the head, ankle, neck, and back.
His head injury resulted in persistent headaches, vertigo, and tinnitus lasting over a year, ultimately contributing to partial hearing loss. To alleviate chronic neck and lower back pain, the plaintiff underwent epidural steroid injections. He has also been prescribed hearing aids to address ongoing auditory deficits.
Attorney Schamberger was assigned to the claim and guided it through a two-year process to settlement. This case relied on medical records, billing from treating doctors, wage loss documentation from the client’s business, and personal statements. The initial settlement offer of $250,000 was successfully increased to $350,000 to reflect the severity of the plaintiff’s injuries.
