Meet Haris Huskic

Hi my name is Harris Huskic, I am a workers comp attorney here at work in the office. I’m originally from Bosnia. I moved here in 1999, and then I grew up in Chicago and the Northwest suburbs. The reason I became a lawyer is I just want to help people out any way I could my parents are blue-collar workers learned so much from them people don’t know how workers’ comp or personal injury work so that’s what we’re here to help them out with. The way I started working here at The Illinois Hammer, it’s actually a funny story Brad reached out to me after him and I were trying to resolve a fee petition between the Illinois Hammer and my prior firm and both of us were not giving any leeway to each other, we were just fighting back and forth over numbers, over a fee petition and he liked that about me. So he called me and wanted me to switch over and join his firm. I could relate to a lot of our foreign clients Spanish speaking or European clients. For example, they don’t know much about what to do in specific situations. All I want to do is help them out I make sure they get their proper benefits and ultimately maximize their financial recovery at the end.
