Bryan Strand has a distinguished career serving and protecting others: as a police officer, defense attorney, and now as a Workers’ Compensation attorney. Bryan has handled hundreds of cases from my perspective as a trained law enforcement investigator. Using his background, he thoroughly interviews witnesses, chases evidence, scrutinizes records and case law. As a former defense attorney, Bryan knows insurance companies’ tricks and their settlement strategies and how to leverage that knowledge to maximize payouts.
In a significant case, Bryan was able to secure a line-of-duty disability pension for a firefighter who was injured at work. Circuit Court originally deemed the first responder ineligible for failing to disclose pre-existing back problems, but Bryan fought relentlessly to prove that his client rightfully earned his pension. Even in the most difficult cases, Bryan does not back down and goes the extra mile to secure the largest settlement possible for his clients.
After serving in law enforcement, Bryan was well versed in handling people navigate stress, trauma and loss. He decided to attend law school to expand the ways he could help people. He earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University and committed himself to advocating for individuals who need strong, dependable representation during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Bryan is a proud member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association and concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation law. He believes this area of law is essential because it protects people from all walks of life who are injured simply by doing their jobs. To Bryan, workers’ compensation serves as a critical safety net that prevents families from losing everything they’ve worked for when a work-related injury or illness strikes. He understands firsthand the physical and emotional toll injuries can take, and he is committed to standing beside his clients every step of the way.
When he’s not advocating for injured workers, Bryan enjoys golfing, motorcycling, and coaching youth sports. Whether on the field, on the road, or in the courtroom, he brings dedication, discipline, and a deep sense of service to everything he does.
