How should a client prepare for their initial consultation after an accident? At the Illinois Hammer Law Firm when a client calls us, most of the time, we will ask and almost all of the time, questions about your accident about your medical treatment. It’s very important that you keep a log of all the doctors that you’ve seen after an accident. What happened to you? It’s important contemporaneously immediately after an accident, you write down what happened because a lot of times memories fade. Also, if there’s any witnesses if you could write down their names, their phone numbers that would help us as well. If you don’t have any witnesses, that’s okay. But if you could try to gather all those facts for us, the initial call, that would be helpful.
